Fire protection tanks are fabricated inside Ecosphere shop, which features an environmentally controlled paint room that is one of the biggest in the Midwest. We build carbon, stainless, and duplex steel fire water tanks. Ecosphere also field-erects fire protection water storage tanks in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Our fire protection water storage tanks are insulated with polyisocyanurate standing seam panels or spray-applied urethane. Both these forms of insulation are usually paired with an immersion heater and thermostat.

Ecosphere India helped perfect the panel insulation method for fire water storage tanks. Panel insulation is sheathed in aluminum and factory coated. It can be applied in any season – so there’s no need to wait for warmer weather – and looks much smoother than the spray-applied insulation. Little to no exterior maintenance is required for panel insulated tanks with heaters. Ecosphere can also rebuild old insulation systems per National Fire Protection Association and Factory Mutual standards.

Our team of inspectors can make sure your existing fire water tanks meet codes and standards. We dispatch remotely operated underwater vehicles to both inspect and clean out the tanks. After every inspection, Pittsburg offers a DVD copy of what the robot found.
